Embracing Positive Communication With Preteens And Teens
Keeping the lines of communication open with our preteens and teenagers can be one of the most challenging aspects of parenting for many parents.
Communication can become very one sided at times and parents may find themselves doing all the talking and getting very little, if any response.
This can bring about feelings of frustration and worry as we try to understand what our children may be feeling or thinking especially in difficult situations. Staying positive and connected is crucial but not always easy.
Using some simple and empowering strategies can help bring about a more positive mindset which will have a positive impact on our daily communication not just with our children but with ourselves and others.
“Simple, empowering strategies to help parents build positive communication and stronger connections with preteens and teens.”
