About Me
My Story
I am a Teen Coach, Motivational Speaker, Accredited Master Coach (ACM) and Creator of the PALS™ Programme — a positive wellbeing programme supporting young people, parents and educators.
But long before coaching became my profession, personal growth became my lifeline.
There was a time in my life when I had very little confidence, very little self-belief and no real sense of who I was. As a young mam of two I found myself facing the breakdown of my marriage while trying to hold everything together for my children.
After several difficult years, I made the life-changing decision to separate, relocate and rebuild life as a single parent. It was one of the hardest periods of my life, but it also became the beginning of my personal transformation.
Through personal development, resilience and support, I slowly rebuilt not just my circumstances — but myself.
That journey sparked something in me.

I began to realise how powerful emotional support, confidence and positive mindset can be when people are struggling. Over the last 21 years I have continued investing in my own growth while building a career helping others do the same.
After becoming an Accredited Master Coach (ACM) with the IAPC&M, I worked with adults from many different backgrounds. Yet I kept noticing the same patterns repeatedly showing up:
- Low confidence
- Poor self-esteem
- Negative thinking
- Fear-based decisions
- Difficulty coping emotionally
And I found myself asking:
What if we could help people build emotional resilience before adulthood becomes overwhelming?

That question led me to create the PALS™ Programme in 2013, later trademarked in 2016.
I wanted to create something practical, positive and engaging — helping young people develop confidence, resilience, kindness, communication skills and emotional wellbeing in a way that feels safe and relatable.
This work became even more personal through my own experiences as a mother.
Following the breakdown of my marriage, both of my children experienced anxiety and emotional struggles — but in very different ways.
My son’s challenges were often more visible, showing up through frustration, anger, behavioural struggles and feeling misunderstood. Looking back, he also missed an ADHD diagnosis which would have helped explain many of the difficulties he faced at the time.
My daughter processed things differently. She was highly communicative and open emotionally, yet quietly carried worries of her own. Like many children, she often tried to protect others from how she was feeling and became “older than her years.”
Those experiences taught me something incredibly important:
No two young people experience emotional challenges in the same way.
As a parent navigating those years, I gained not just professional understanding but real-life empathy.
I understand the parent lying awake worrying.
I understand the teenager who cannot find the words.
I understand the child whose behaviour is masking something deeper.
And I understand the quiet young person who appears “fine” while carrying far more than anyone realises.
Thankfully, today our story is one of growth, communication and hope.
My son, now 25, is thriving and proudly embraces the ethos of PALS™ despite resisting it as a teenager. My daughter, now 27, has gone on to become a school teacher, which feels beautifully full circle.
And soon, I’ll be stepping into another role I’m incredibly excited about — becoming a grandmother.
As life enters this new chapter, I feel even more passionate about helping the next generation build confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing and self-belief.
Today, I work with schools, parents, educators and young people across Ireland through workshops, coaching programmes and motivational talks. My approach is warm, energetic, authentic and non-judgemental — creating spaces where young people feel heard, safe and empowered.
PALS™ is proudly old-school too. We put pen to paper, have real conversations and every student receives a gratitude journal to continue their journey beyond the workshop.
Whether I’m speaking on stage, coaching one-to-one or connecting with a classroom of teenagers, my goal is always the same:
To help young people realise they are stronger, more capable and more valuable than they may believe.
Because when young people feel understood, everything changes.
Alongside my coaching and school work, I also host the TLC with Bee podcast on Spotify — a space for honest conversations around the Leaving Cert, emotional wellbeing, confidence, teenage pressures, parenting and the real-life challenges young people face today. The podcast was created to support not just students but parents too, reminding families that they are not alone in what they’re experiencing.
Today, I work with schools, parents, educators and young people across Ireland through workshops, coaching programmes, motivational talks and podcast conversations.
